Inside the projects you can make an unlimited number of items. Apart from the usual features like renaming and deleting an item there are item types which help you organize the items.

ProdGoal’s types are color-coded. You can create as many item types as you want. The categories are also unlimited.

Regarding assignees, you can assign any number of members who are working on the task. There is also a time-tracking icon on the item that displays the time a card has spent in a status.

Jira has an option only to set a high WIP limit in its free plan, while it is possible to set both low and high WIP limits in ProdGoal. You can still make new tasks and delete them as normal, even if you crossed the limit.

The column types are color-coded and you can create as many column types as you need. There are 5 built-in column type categories to place the types in and those are - ”Backlog”, “To Do”, “Doing”, “Done and Archive”.

Groups are a separate item view, where you can arrange tasks. Groups are unlimited as well. What is cool with groups is that it automatically forecasts when the tasks will be done based on historical data. The more tasks are finished, the more data you provide for calculation, and then the estimates will be more accurate.

In the groups’ view, a relation between a board item and a roadmap item can be created. Items in the groups can be connected to roadmap items.
